North County DanceArts’ Families Adopt Local Military Families in Dance Hearts/Bells of Freedom’s “The Big Thank You 2017”!

Staff, Families and Friends of North County DanceArts and other community individuals, groups and organizations combined efforts to make this Holiday Season a Brighter one for more than 100 Camp Pendleton enlisted and their families by participating in Dance Hearts and the Bells of Freedom’s “The Big Thank You 2017” on Sunday, December 3rd.

This year’s event was a HUGE SUCCESS and we thank you! With a huge outpouring of support from the staff, students, friends of NCDA along with community individuals, businesses & organizations and even the local news ( KUSI courtesy of Mark McKinnon) these local Marine families were shown how much our San Diego community appreciates their service and sacrifice.  NCDA students, families, and staff were among the caravan of seventy (70) vehicles entering Camp Pendleton to deliver the Holidays at the AAS Battalion, Del Mar area. Not only did our NCDA families and staff provide financial and emotional support to these families, but could be seen throughout the day working to make this experience for our military families a very special one. The selfless generosity of our NCDA dance family is what sets them apart from the rest and why WE love them so much.

The military  families we ‘adopt’ vary in race, ethnicity, culture, and religion. Their commonality is that they are all employed by the United States Armed Forces and that they are families that need an emotional, spiritual, and financial boost. Cash donations of any denomination go a long way when totaled up at the end of the day. Cash donations allow the Bells of Freedom program to help just one more military family in need.

Dance Hearts/Bells of Freedom is a recognized 501 (c) 3 Public Charity and has no paid Directors, Staff or Volunteers. Bells of Freedom depends solely on private donations and 100% of donated funds go directly to the military families we serve.
