Diana Nicastro

Diana has been teaching ballet in the San Diego area for over 15 years.  She studied at the Boston Conservatory of Music under the direction of Ruth Sandholm Ambrose of the Boston Ballet, Yasuko Tokunaga and Emiko Tokunaga, concentrating on Classical Ballet, Modern Dance and Choreography.  Diana also studied at the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance in New York. 
 

Diana Nicastro
A former faculty member of the Scripps Performing Arts Academy, Diana instructed classes in Levels I-V Ballet, Pointe, and Adult Ballet.  More recently, she was a faculty member and Director of the Children's Ballet program at The Academy of Performing Arts as well as Branch Manager and Ballet Instructor for the California Ballet School.

Diana currently instructs our NCDA adult students the techniques, nuances and joys of ballet each Tuesday morning.
